The Ski Tip Toe Connectors are made of stainless steel and they clamp the front tips of the child’s skis together (if required). This eliminates involuntary movements of the ski tips, preventing backwards, forwards and sideways slip. This allows the child to open and close the back of the skis for the purpose of turning the skis. After a period of time it may be possible to remove the connectors. This child will be given one to one tuition and should ski without the use of any other teaching aids. The Ski Trainer is operated by our instructor and installs confidence. This equipment can later be replaced with a Ski Tip Connector.
NOT SUITABLE FOR A child that depends on the use of a walking frame or rolator, elbow crutches or sticks A child that cannot walk for reasonably long periods and distances independently A child who’s feet may not bend forward enough to gain entry into a ski boot and a child that also has severely in-turned feet, not allowing entry into ski boot.
