HOLIDAYS OF A LIFETIME FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AN ILLNESS OR DISABILITY Click Here for Website of The Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany Whilst we continue to struggle raising the necessary funds within the UK, out of the blue came very generous funding from Germany. Just as importantly, it came with the total belief in our voluntary work for the children.

John was very interested and asked for details to be forwarded onto him, from which several of the 12 Lodges in Germany immediately responded and sent Katie's generous donations of approximately £1,400.00. Subsequently, John Woodhouse became Grand Master and nominated Katie's Ski Tracks to be one of his two charities for his term of office. In 2001 he presented us with a cheque for £5,500.00, and then it just got better- he appointed his new charity steward John Kellas. John Kellas was already completely taken with the work of Katie's and went on a mission this year, resulting in the twelve small lodges that make up the British Freemasons in Germany presenting us with a further cheque for a staggering £10,000.00
